BART - Oakland 19th Street BART Station
BART lines that stop at the Oakland 19th Street Station: Richmond, Pittsburg/Bay Point and Fremont.
Once you arrive at the 19th Street station, walk 5 blocks north on Broadway to 24th Street. Take a right on 24th. Go 1 short block to Webster and take a left. Go 1/2 block on Webster and see Soja on the East side of the street, next to the Hertz Rental car station on the corner.

Parking:
There is metered on-street public
parking directly outside Soja's facility. It's easy to find a space on
the block most times of the day, after 6:00pm it gets full directly out in front, but you can always find a place around the corner. The parking
meters are free after 6:00pm, technically the yellow commercial parking
zones directly outside the facility are enforceable 24 hours a day, so take your own risk at parking there. They do a random enforcement after 6pm....a few times a month. The city parking citation
officers police this street quite often during the hours of 8:00am -
6:00pm. Most parking tickets cost between $60 - 90+. The on street
meters cost about 25 cents per 12 minutes. If this is your first
time visiting Soja by car, we recommend using the public parking
lots on Webster 1 block south of Soja. Once you've been here a few times, you'll probably be able to find a free 2 hour or 24 hour parking spot a block or so away.
Specific Driving Directions:
From San Francisco:
Take the Bay Bridge East towards Oakland and Berkeley. After crossing the bridge stay in the middle lanes. Take 580 East towards Downtown Oakland/Hayward. Take the Downtown Oakland 880 freeway which comes up right after the exit for the 24 Freeway on your right. From that on ramp you exit immediately at the 27th Street West Grand Exit. Take a left on 27th Street and go 3 blocks to Broadway. Take a right on Broadway and merge to the left lane. Go through 1 traffic light and take the next left at 25th Street onto Webster Street. Soja Martial Arts is on that block on Webster, on the left side, in the middle of the block. Find parking right out front on the street.
From Berkeley:
Go south on 80 towards the 580 East and 880 South. After passing Emeryville and Powell Street, merge to the left and find the Downtown Oakland 580 East towards Hayward sign. On 580 East, take the Downtown Oakland 880 freeway which comes up right after the exit for the 24 Freeway on your right. From that on ramp you can exit immediately to the 27th Street West Grand Exit. Take a left on 27th Street and go 3 blocks to Broadway. Take a right on Broadway and merge to the left lane. Go through 1 light and from Broadway take the next left at 25th Street. That is where Webster starts or intersects Broadway. Soja is on the left in the middle of the block. Find parking right out front on the street.
From San Jose (South of Oakland Downtown):
Take the 880 north towards downtown Oakland. A couple of miles after passing the Oakland Coliseum on your right, notice downtown Oakland approaching on your right; take the Oak Street exit and exit towards Lakeside Drive. Turn right at Oak Street; continue on Lakeside drive, stay to the right closest to Lake Merritt on your right, until Lakeside drive becomes Harrison Drive....continue on Harrison Drive; turn left at 24th Street (large intersection with the Whole Foods in front of you to your right; continue down 24th towards Broadway (West), turn right at Webster Street. Soja is half a block on the right.
